British Airways is selling 7-night Caribbean holidays from £599 including flights and hotels

BRITISH AIRWAYS have slashed the price of Caribbean holidays, with seven-night breaks including flights starting from £599 per person.

There are week-long escapes to destinations including Jamaica, Tobago, Barbados and St Kitts, among others.

The holiday prices are based on two adults sharing and include return economy flights from UK airports, plus seven nights’ accommodation.

The trips are on travel dates between September 1 and 30 this year, and those looking to book have until May 7.

However, it's worth noting that is also the Caribbean's hurricane season.

British Airways has a flexible booking policy as part of their Customer Promise, which means you can move your flights or holiday for free if plans change with just three weeks notice, or get a full refund within 14 days if the trip can't go ahead.

You can also pay in instalments or wait to settle the balance on your holiday until three weeks before travel.

The UK government are still to confirm which countries will be on the green, amber and red travel traffic light list, ahead of the anticipated May 17 date which will allow foreign travel to resume.

It's previously reported that the list may not be revealed until May 7.

PC Agency's Paul Charles has predicted up to 30 countries could be on the UK's green list, many of which are in the Caribbean.

The list includes Barbados, Morocco, Maldives, Seychelles, Grenada, St. Lucia, Antigua and Bermuda.
