2. Atlantic House Polzeath, New Polzeath, Cornwall

Check in to this luxurious spot right on Polzeath Beach in Cornwall.

3. The Devon Court, Torquay, Devon

If you fancy staying in the centre of Torquay, you can head to Devon Court.

The hotel has a heated outdoor swimming pool, a sun terrace and a pretty garden for guests to enjoy.

4. Tremarne Hotel, Mevagissey, Cornwall

Just minutes from the Cornwall coast is Tremarne Hotel which has the added bonus of its own swimming pool.

5. Rooms by Bistrot Pierre, Plymouth, Devon

For a city break, book into Bistrot Pierre, a boutique B&B in Plymouth.

Located in a Grade II listed building that was once home to a Royal Navy Admiral, it now has 14 bedrooms, all of which come with free breakfast, parking and WiFi.

The restaurant Bistrot Pierre is just across the green from the hotel and serves up French food with a great cocktail menu. There's also a sun terrace overlooking the green.

6. Crown Inn, Lanlivery, Cornwall

Great for couples, the Crown Inn is a traditional hotel based in Lanlivery, Cornwall.

Rooms are cosy, and each one comes with a flat-screen TV and private bathroom, while there is a sun terrace and on-site restaurant.
