WHEN it comes to kid-friendly staycations, Haven is hard to beat - as they have tot breaks and baby and kid-friendly holidays all year round.
The parks offer plenty of activities and entertainment, from indoor pools with splash areas and waterparks to arcades, outdoor playing areas and workshops.

Every holiday park is tot-friendly, but we've found these to be the best, thanks to their facilities, many activities and little details like kids' cutlery in the restaurants.
Parks with the new Marina Bar and Stage, such as Seashore and Hopton, have more space for child-friendly activities and entertainment during the day.
They also have specific splash areas for toddlers at the pool.
Here are nine of the best for under-fives, with deals this year:
Craig Tara, Scotland
One of Haven's largest parks, , has loads to keep little ones occupied, including the Oodles family amusement centre with its arcade games.
There's the Splashaway Bay water complex with slides and flumes and the all-weather Lighthouse Harbour Adventure Village, which is like a mini seaside world for kids. It has its own stage, creative studio, sensory room and areas like toy shops and kitchens, while a big play RNLI lifeboat is in the centre.

Families can enjoy quiet time together, as the park has direct access to a sand and pebble beach - perfect for strolling along the rugged Ayrshire coast.
The peaceful town of Ayr is also just a ten-minute drive away.

Hafan y Môr, North Wales
The park in North Wales is home to the Dragon Lakes Adventure Village, where little ones can ride mini 4x4 off-roaders with their parents, enjoy a trip on a boating lake, or play in sand pits.
They'll be well catered for in the food department, too, with family-friendly grub served at the Coast House bar & grill and sweet treats from the Cakery.
The beautiful scenery of Wales is on your doorstep - if tots can tear themselves away from the swimming pool.

Haggerston Castle, Northumberland
The park in Northumberland does have a castle, adding a touch of magic to a break as soon as you arrive.
Toddlers and babies can explore their artistic side at The Creative Studio, visit seven different lakes for a bit of wildlife spotting and take a stroll along the landscaped walkways of the park.
If everyone gets tired, they can relax in the heated pool, head to the rooftop Tower bar to refuel with drinks and snacks, or enjoy some day and night entertainment.

Hopton, Norfolk
has a heated indoor and outdoor pool complex, including a fun SplashZone and flumes that tots will love.
At The Marina Bar and Stage, families can set up camp in a cosy corner for entertainment, live shows and activities - like one offering where little ones can try their hand at making their own prints.
There are lovely ponds to explore and a sandy beach right by the park.

Kiln Park, South Wales
Head to in South Wales, where you have not only the seaside town of Tenby nearby but also a Blue Flag beach that's ideal for young children.
Toddlers will love to splash down the water slides or in the mini SplashZone of the heated indoor and outdoor pools.
There's a seaside-themed family-friendly bar and restaurant, and if you fancy a change of scene, Kiln's sister park, Lydstep Beach, is just up the road and has many options for trying out watersports.

Primrose Valley, Yorkshire
With a large lake, park is perfect for taking little ones out on a Pedalo or enjoying the incredible scenery from the Lakehouse bar and restaurant.
There are not one but two indoor pools in case of rain, which have slides and other water features. There's also an outdoor heated pool.
Families can also pop out to the nearby Filey, Scarborough and Bridlington for the day.

Rockley Park, Dorset
Close to Poole Quay - which has a great view of Poole Harbour as well as restaurants and shops - has lots for young children.
As well as exploring the seaside town, there's a beach, lake and woodland to explore on Ham Common, where the park is based.
Families can spot plenty of wildlife - there are even some creepy crawlies to be found. There are lots of fun creative workshops, including one where kids can make their own slime.
The award-winning Sandbanks Beach and Bournemouth are not too far either.

Seashore, Norfolk
is the only park on the beachfront at Great Yarmouth.
Tots will love the traditional seafront, home to the historic Pleasure Beach amusement park and the Golden Mile, where they can play on the sand and build sandcastles.
Back at the park, there are water flumes, slides and fun splash areas, a new Pizza Deck for family meals and an indoor soft play area.
There's family entertainment available at the Marina Bar and Stage too.

Thornwick Bay, Yorkshire
The park has all the hallmarks of a perfect family holiday park, including water slides in a heated indoor pool, outdoor play areas and The Lighthouse bar and restaurant, which has a terrace right opposite a sand pit and play area for children.
There are full-on family shows from the Thornwick Bay Entertainment Cast in the evening and Seaside Streetside pop-up performers that appear all over the park.
For a relaxing stroll, there are plenty of clifftops walks around the nearby headland where you can see the sunset.
