Virgin Atlantic launches sale – with cheap US flights from £279
VIRGIN Atlantic has launched their winter sale with bargain flights from £279 to the US.
The cheapest deals include return flights to New York and Boston from the UK, with dates up to December 2021 available.
Other bargains under £300 include flights to Tel Aviv.
The airline's sale, which will last until February, includes flights from December 22, 2020 to December 31, 2021, giving you a year to fly.
Flights from London Heathrow and Manchester include routes to the US such as Orlando and Miami as well.
Fancy something hotter? Flights to Barbados, Grenada, Tobago or Montego start from £359pp, as do flights to Havana in Cuba.
Flights from Glasgow and Belfast to Orlando are also included in the sale.
are also a bargain, all of which are ATOL protected and include seven nights and return flights:
- Seven nights in Orlando - from £555p
- Seven nights in Barbados - from £629pp
- Four nights in Las Vegas - from £629pp
Virgin has also launched a free, pre-departure Covid testing trial on flights between London Heathrow and Barbados, which started on December 9.
Passengers are requested to take a free rapid, point of care, lateral flow antigen test before they fly, delivered by health professionals at Collinson and Swissport’s Terminal 2 Pre-Departure testing facility.
However, the lateral flow antigen test does not replace existing testing protocols to enter the countries - Barbados still requires a negative PCR test, three days prior to arrival.
Many of the destinations in the Virgin sale are also still closed to the UK, including the US, so it is worth checking before booking and ensuring you have travel insurance which covers coronavirus-related cancellations.
