Jet2 launches new Greek routes for summer 2021 – from Newcastle and East Midlands to Kefalonia, Santorini and Skiathos
JET2 is launching new flights to Greece next year, in time for summer 2021 holidays.
Even better, you can book them now to get in a summer holiday to look forward to.
The new routes will operate from Newcastle Airport and East Midlands Airport from May 2021.
Santorini, Kefalonia and Skiathos will fly from Newcastle, while Skiathos will also have flights to and from East Midlands Airport.
The new routes add an additional 300,000 seats to Jet2's schedule next year.
The new routes also take Jet2 Greek destinations to 14, with Corfu, Kos, Zante and Crete just some of the options for a summer holiday next year.
The new flights will operate as following:
Newcastle Airport
- Skiathos – weekly Friday services operating from May 21 through to October 8
- Kefalonia – weekly Friday services operating from July 23 through to October 8
- Santorini – weekly Monday services operating from July 26 through to November 1
East Midlands Airport
- Skiathos – weekly Sunday services operating from May 23 through to October 10
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays said the new flights were added due to the demand to Greece for summer 2021.

Kefalonia, Skiathos and Santorini are magical destinations, and we know their appeal, coupled with our award-winning customer experience, will make them extremely popular from Newcastle and East Midlands Airports."
Jet2 are also launching flights from Bristol Airport next summer for the first time.
All Jet2 flights and holidays have been cancelled due to the pandemic, with some not resuming until February 2021.
Greece, Spain and Italy - popular destinations with British holidaymakers - are all off the cards unless you have a negative coronavirus test.
Only the Canaries is on the UK's air bridge list - the other countries require a two-week quarantine.
