Brits can only visit FOUR countries without restrictions or quarantine
THERE are just four countries left open to Brits where there are no travel restrictions or quarantines.
Many destinations now require a two-week quarantine, either on arrival or returning to the UK, or expensive and complicated coronavirus tests.
The latest countries most recently added to the quarantine list were Turkey, Poland and the Caribbean Netherlands Bonaire, St Eustatius and Saba, on October 3.
Now, Brits can only travel without any restrictions or quarantines to the following four countries, all of which are in Europe:
- Germany
- Gibraltar
- Greece
- Sweden
- NEW - Canary Islands
Some of these countries are not as straightforward to enter as it may seem either.
For Greece, you can visit all of the mainlands and islands without quarantining, excluding Crete and Mykonos.

Anyone returning to England must quarantine if they visit those two islands. All of Greece is on Scotland's quarantine list.
You also need to fill in a free Passenger Locator Form before entering.
To visit Germany, you do not have to quarantine depending on where you leave from the UK.
If you come from Northern Ireland, Scotland, North East England, North West England, the Midlands, Yorkshire and the Humber and Wales you will have to self-isolate for two weeks.
Countries are enforcing their own rules against British arrivals due to the coronavirus situation in the country.
Liechtenstein, while still on the UK's air corridor list, is no longer allowing Brits in within quarantining for ten days.
Other countries popular with Brits include Cyprus which, while open to Brits, requires a negative coronavirus test which cannot be done on the NHS, and can cost upwards of £100.

- Italy
- Madeira
- Azores
- Estonia
- Jersey
- Barbados
- St Lucia
Dubai and the Maldives also require negative PCR tests, but are not on the UK's air corridor list.
Italy also introduced negative coronavirus tests for all British arrivals, or a mandatory test on arrival which could result in a quarantine.
Some families have also had problems getting the results in time, with them needed up to 72 hours before travelling.
Madeira and the Azores, the Portuguese islands also open to Brits, require negative coronavirus tests as well.
Spain, France, Malta and Croatia have been off the list for Brits to go on holiday, with each country removed from the air corridor list.
Parts of the UK may be off limits for holidays too soon after the UK government introduced their new tiered system, preventing household visits in some regions.
