THE UK government has lifted quarantine restrictions for parts of Greece.
Here is everything you need to know about travelling to the country, including whether it is on the quarantine list and what to do if it is.
Will Greece be put on the quarantine list?
If you are returning to England, Northern Ireland or Wales from Mykonos or Crete, or returning to Scotland from any part of Greece, you will need to self-isolate on your return.
Greece was placed on to the quarantine list by the Scottish government, with all arrivals including the .
But mainland Greece remains on the travel corridor list for England and Wales.
On October 8, Greek islands Lesbos, Tinos, Serifos, Santorini and Zakynthos were removed for travellers from England.
But quarantining rules remain in place for the islands of Mykonos and Crete.
Transport Secretary Grant Shapps said: "We are ADDING Lesvos, Tinos, Serifos, Santorini and Zakynthos to the #TravelCorridor list this week.
"From 4am Saturday 10th Oct, if you arrive from those Greek islands, you will NO LONGER need to self-isolate."
There were fears Greece and Italy could both be put on the quarantine list, but travel experts have questioned the reasoning behind quarantining countries with rates of coronavirus far lower than the UK.
Both Italy and Greece had a rate over the previous threshold for quarantine - 20 cases per 100,000.
Britain's infection rate is currently 136.6 cases per 100,000.
What happens if the country is quarantined while I am on holiday?
If the country does go into quarantine, Brits will be given notice to be able to return to the UK, although this may be around 48 hours as seen by France and Spain.
Anyone returning to England from the affected islands would need to return before the cut-off date and time, to avoid the new restrictions.
If families come back after the date given by the UK government, then they will have to quarantine for two weeks on their return.
Greece may also then enforce similar restrictions for Brits on arrival.
The country currently has its own entry requirements for British tourists.
All arrivals must have filled in a Passenger Locator Form 24 hours before travelling, which will then send a QR code.
The QR code must be shown on arrival.
Greece is also undertaking random coronavirus tests at the airport, and anyone who tests positive will be forced to quarantine for two weeks in the country.
What happens if I have a holiday booked when the travel ban is in place?
If Greece is put on to the quarantine list, then tour operators and airlines are likely to stop flights and holidays.
This will mean they will offer a refund or credit note, while some airlines are allowing passengers to move their flights free of charge.
EasyJet is currently waiving the flight change fee for changes made up to 14 days before departure, and Ryanair have waived their flight change fees or all new bookings made in July, August and September, although you will need to pay the difference in flight costs.
Tui is giving refunds to holidaymakers after they complained to the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), sparking an investigation.
Tour operators such as Jet2 and Tui are also likely to postpone package holidays.
