EasyJet Holidays will restart package hols on August 1

EASYJET Holidays has announced that it will restart its package holidays from August 1.
The move follows the announcement on Friday from the UK government on its new air bridges, allowing Brits to skip quarantine on return to the UK.
The airline will be running trips to a number of countries, including Spain, Greece and Turkey.
Matt Callaghan, Customer Director at EasyJet holidays said: “Like many people we’ve been waiting for this moment.
“It’s really exciting to be able to bring the magic of holidays to life for our customers.”
EasyJet holidays are , including seven nights at the 4 star Paradise Park Fun Lifestyle Hotel in Los Cristianos, Tenerife including flights, with 23kg of luggage per person from London Gatwick airport on 23 August 2020.
There is also a package holiday for seven nights at the 3 star Artemis Apartments in Crete on a self catering basis, with 23kg of luggage per person from London Gatwick airport on 4 August 2020.
On Friday, Downing Street announced the full list of countries which are on the air bridge list, with holidays to Spain, Italy and France officially confirmed.
Air bridges - which allow quarantine-free travel between two countries - have been in the works for weeks to allow Brits to go on holiday abroad once again.
“Green” and “amber” traffic light destinations cover every European nation — allowing sunseekers to fly off to favourite hotspots Spain, Greece and France without having to isolate when they return.

Only those flying to “red” countries — Covid hotspots such as the US, Brazil and India — will have to self-isolate on return.
This weekend, the Foreign Office also lowered the travel advice warning against non-essential travel to the countries on the list.
From July 10, Brits will not have to quarantine when returning to the UK from the air bridge countries.
While Brits returning from these countries will be able to skip the 14-day quarantine, it should be noted that there may still be travel bans or quarantine restrictions in those countries.

Countries including Greece has been included on the the list, despite the country extending its ban on UK flights until July 15.
The US is not expected to form any travel agreements with the UK until at least November.
The Foreign Office will also maintain the ban on all non-essential travel to these destinations.
Last week, Sun Online Travel revealed that that EasyJet airline is going to sack up to 4,500 staff and close hubs at Stansted, Southend and Newcastle, airports in another blow to the travel industry.
