Plane passenger caught brushing his teeth in seat – and people can’t decide if it’s gross or not
A MAN was caught brushing his teeth in his seat during a flight and it has left people divided.
While some have claimed it is disgusting, others don't see it as a problem and say the man was just practising good hygiene.
In the image, shared on , the older passenger has his headphones on while sitting in his economy seat.
Looking away from the camera, he has a toothbrush in his mouth as he cleans his teeth.
It isn't clear where or how he spat the toothpaste out afterwards.
April, who posted the image, wrote: "In all my years of flying, I’ve literally never seen someone brush their damn teeth on the plane."
"Airplane water tanks are Petri dishes, with water that's been found to contain just about every bacteria and parasite under the sun."
This man isn't the only traveller to catch the eye of social media users this week - a passenger was also slammed after she was spotted sleeping with both of her bare feet pressed against the plane window.
A woman was also caught flossing her teeth recently while waiting at the airport terminal, much to the disgust of other travellers.
Having dental work before a flight could even cause a lot of pain due to the change in air pressure, according to a flight attendant.
