STAR BUY

Disney forced to sell Star Wars cutlery as souvenirs because guests keep stealing them

DISNEY are now selling Star Wars cutlery as souvenirs - reportedly because guests won't stop stealing them.

The metal sporks (a cross between a spoon and a fork) were first introduced to the parks when the hotly anticipated Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge land opened at Disneyland in California.

Shortly after, the sporks started appearing on ebay, with people selling them on for profits.

When Sun Online Travel checked, several were available,

Fans can still get the sporks at Docking Bay 7, where they're being sold for $10.99 (£8.39) each.

They are available on the food menu, so you can order them at the same time as your meal, and they come in a bag that says spork in Aurebesh.

And in an attempt to limit the number of people who buy them and then sell them on, Disney are only letting fans buy one per meal.

The Sun were among the first to visit the new Star Wars attraction when it opened last year.

We also went back when its second major ride, Rise of the Resistance, opened in Florida.

When the attraction first opened, fans were waiting overnight to be one of the first to get on the ride.

Sun Online Travel has contacted Disney for comment.
