DEATH in Paradise has become a fan favourite over the years.
But while the island of Saint Marie is fictional, fans can find the real life filming location for the BBC One series in the Caribbean.
Where is Saint Marie?
The island of Saint Marie doesn't actually exist in real life.
Instead, Death in Paradise is filmed in the French Caribbean region of Guadeloupe.
Many extras in the show speak French due to its location.
The island is also known as Butterfly Island, due to its shape.
You can book a sea-view room for yourself for around £140 ($185) a night, with breakfast included.
In series eight, Saint Marie Zoo was filmed at , one of the top attractions in Guadeloupe.
And the famous police station is filmed in part of the church of St Peter and St Paul.
The last series saw Ralf Little quit the show, with fans wondering who his replacement could be.
No one has been confirmed yet but some think a woman may be taking on the role.
Betting shop Coral are tipping actress Diane Morgan as their favourite to be the next detective with odds of 1-2.
Miranda Hart is next best in the betting at 2-1, Martin Clunes can be backed at 7-2, while Rupert Grint is 5-1.
Coral’s John Hill said: “Mandy star Diane Morgan tops our betting to replace Ralf Little on Death In Paradise. We think the show may go for a new look on the next series, with the comedian the most likely to land the lead detective role,” said Coral’s John Hill.
