THE famous Icehotel in Lapland is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
To commemorate this year's opening, 33 artists have each designed one of the rooms inside the property.

The Icehotel has opened for the 30th year in Lapland this year Among the designers are British duo Jonathon and Marnie Green, who created a suite themed on the West End, while Robert Harding created the Bone Room which highlights the cycle of life.
The hotel has welcomed more than one million guests since it opened 30 years ago, and uses 1,000 blocks of ice to build.

From an ice-carved observation deck to a frozen bar, here are the exciting new designs at the hotel you can stay in this year.
Main Hall: Brutal Experience 37

We tested the hotel out for ourselves , and found that it wasn't as cold as expected - although some couples can't last the night.
