Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion will close for months-long restoration

DISNEYLAND are closing their popular Haunted Mansion attraction for months next year, meaning bad news for visitors during the spring half term.

The theme park in California will be shutting the ride from January 21 for renovation works.

According to , the ride will be temporarily closed for an extensive, months-long restoration process.

The ride, which turned 50 in August, will close to the public until late March or April, Disneyland officials confirmed to the outlet.

The restoration will reportedly include painting of the ride’s interior and exterior, as well as mechanical maintenance inside the mansion.

Disney fans weren't happy about the news on social media.

The park is said to be rolling out new rides, including a Ratatouille and Guardians of the Galaxy attraction, as well as restaurants and a pavilion where guests can play and interact with their favourite Disney characters.

Another ride at Disneyland was forced to close earlier this year - after an idiot dad jumped on it and damaged it while trying to "prove it was safe".

There is even a Disney jail - which some celebrities have found themselves sent to during a visit to the park.

A brand new UK theme park is opening in 2024 called London Resort, and has been dubbed "Britain's Disneyland".
