Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion will close for months-long restoration
DISNEYLAND are closing their popular Haunted Mansion attraction for months next year, meaning bad news for visitors during the spring half term.
The theme park in California will be shutting the ride from January 21 for renovation works.
According to , the ride will be temporarily closed for an extensive, months-long restoration process.
The ride, which turned 50 in August, will close to the public until late March or April, Disneyland officials confirmed to the outlet.
The restoration will reportedly include painting of the ride’s interior and exterior, as well as mechanical maintenance inside the mansion.
Disney fans weren't happy about the news on social media.
One woman : "I planned my whole trip around making sure HM was open. Noooooo."
Another person : "A few months? Maybe I won't go back to Disneyland on my birthday."
Someone else said they were "so sad" they would be closed.
This is the third ride at the Disneyland park to undergo maintenance work, along with Snow White’s Scary Adventures and the Indiana Jones Adventure ride.

The park is said to be rolling out new rides, including a Ratatouille and Guardians of the Galaxy attraction, as well as restaurants and a pavilion where guests can play and interact with their favourite Disney characters.
