Kate Garraway admits she’s scared of EVERYTHING and can’t cope without food ahead of I’m A Celebrity
KATE Garraway has admitted she’s scared of pretty much everything and really struggles without food ahead of her stint on I’m A Celebrity.
The 52-year-old will be heading to the Australian jungle in a matter of weeks where she will come face to face with all kinds of challenges, including wild animals and a very basic diet of rice and beans.
Speaking to about the job ahead, she revealed: “I’m really scared of snakes, spiders and rats. I’m claustrophobic and I don’t really like heights.”
The mum-of-two continued: “I’m not very good without food. I genuinely eat chocolate every single day, a massive slab of it. I’ve done that since I was 16.
“I don’t think I have the strategy to survive. I think I would be a constant disappointment to the rest of the team.”
The Sun revealed that the Good Morning Britain host had signed up for the ITV show earlier this month and that she had already booked the time off work.

She had been in talks to enter last year but turned down a big-money offer because of her hectic schedule.
But the telly anchor has now agreed to enter the show and will fly out to Australia in the coming weeks.
Kate, who has been an ITV morning regular for almost 20 years, previously said her children Darcey, 13, and William, ten, were desperate for her to take part.
Speaking in March, she explained: “I think it’s completely terrifying but it’s also a brilliant show to watch, so I don’t know.
“My kids would love me to do it, I don’t know what that says.”
