Space geek discovers a PIG on Mars while trawling through pictures of the Red Planet

A SPACE geek made a snout of this world discovery — a pig on Mars.

Steve Martin, 56, spotted the porker while scanning official pictures beamed from the Red Planet.

It comes after he also detected a penguin-like creature hiding behind a rock.

Steve said: “I’ve spent hours looking at Nasa images but I never thought I would find a penguin and then a pig.”

He monitors photos sent from the Curiosity rover, which landed on Mars in 2012.

Steve spends hours trawling the US space agency’s website at his home in Kent.

He said: “I’ve sent five or six other pictures to an image analyst who appeared on TV show, Nasa: The Unexplained Files.

"They’ve been taking a look.”

Nasa has declined to comment.
