Fortnite 9.30 update – pump shotgun returns as 14 days of Summer modes are detailed

FORTNITE'S summer games are nearly upon us, but the latest patch notes bring plenty to celebrate too.
Not only is the fan-favourite pump shotgun back, but Kevin The Cube has also made a triumphant return.
There's a new version of the revolver too, which can do a hefty 132 damage per shot if you land it between the eyes.
Uncommon and Rare variants of the pump shotgun have been unvaulted - but to compensate, the tactical shotgun will now appear half as often as before.
The tactical shotgun had already received a nerf in the initial round of 9.3 changes last week, but the return of the much-loved pump should be a boon for shotgun fans regardless.
The suppressed SMG is back too, at the expense of reduced availability for the burst SMG.

Finally, Creative mode is getting a host of prefabs and galleries to celebrate everyone's favourite platonic solid, Kevin the Cube.
The magenta monstrosity wrought havoc and won friends in the dim and distant past that was season 5, and the new additions let you re-create some of that in your own islands.
How much money has Fortnite made so far?
FORTNITE has made more money than any computer game in history.
Since the Battle Royale mode was launched in 2017 it is estimated to have made around £3 billion.
Epic trousered a massive £1.9billion in 2018 from Fornite alone, making it the most successful 12 months for any game in history.
December 2018 saw Fortnite make £300 million, according to third-party analysts SuperData.
Epic doesn't release total month-by-month figures, but third parties have been pretty good at working out the amount spent on individual platforms and combining them.
For instance, players on iPhone and iPad were shelling out £1.25 million every day in 2018 after the iOS launch in March.
The games' popularity seems to have peaked last December, as had been predicted, though Epic may well hope the £30m Fortnite World Cup this summer revives things somewhat.
