APEX Legends first season is done - and changes revealed today make it look like season 2 is going to be well worth dropping into when it finally arrives.
EA revealed a new Legend at EA Play this morning, using its pre-E3 event in LA to show Wattson off to gathered fans.
Those fans will have to wait until July 2 for Battle Charge to arrive, though, despite EA's original promise it would be here in June.
Natalie “Wattson” Paquette is coming with Battle Charge too - she's a new defensive legend who can drop electric fences to help funnel her foes into killzones or keep her squadmates safe from flanking attacks.
EA has had mixed success with the more defensive Legends so far, but it's hoping to give them a boost for Season 2.
There's a new weapon dropping in too - the L-Star machine gun that can chew up your foes and even destroy doors.
Finally, one even bigger shake-up was teased.
A brief glimpse of some sort of Godzilla-esque kaiju closed the briefing, suggesting some sort of huge world-changing destruction is on the way.
Battle Royale fans do something new they can grab right now -- a that is on sale now for £199.
Meanwhile, the E3 festivities are kicking off in Los Angeles, with Microsoft's briefing on Sunday expected to bring news of the Xbox 2 and their latest in cloud gaming technology.
Sony aren't attending this year, however, so don't hold your breath for PS5 updates.
Sun Gaming will be at the show, to stay tuned for more news as it breaks.
