Amazon promo code slashes 25% off top Alexa, Kindle and Fire tablet gear – but it expires soon

AMAZON is flogging accessories for its most popular gadgets at a heavily discounted rate – courtesy of a promo code.

You can buy cases, cables, adapters and remotes for Kindle e-book readers, Fire tablets and Amazon Echo Alexa speakers all for 25% off.

It's part of a New Year promotion that sees prices slashed for hundreds of items across the site.

All you need to do is head to the following page:

Once there, choose items you'd like to buy and then enter the code NEWYEAR25 into the 'Gift Cards + Promotional Codes' field at checkout.

When entered, you should see the reduced price appear in the Order Summary box.

There are loads of top products on offer for discounted prices.

For instance, there's the extremely useful Mission Battery Shell, which is a battery case for your Amazon Echo.

This allows you to make your Amazon Echo portable, bringing Alexa with you to the garden, for instance.

It would normally cost you £49.99, but with the code NEWYEAR25, it drops to about £37.50:
