GOOGLE has revealed what Brits searched for most in 2018 – and there are some surprises.

Meghan Markle and the Royal Wedding proved popular search terms, but Brits also queried more obscure questions like "what is upskirting?" and even "how to bleed radiators".

Despite England failing to secure the trophy, the World Cup still managed to become the most searched-for term on Google in 2018

The most popular thing to search for in 2018 was the World Cup, which won't come as a huge surprise.

This was followed by Meghan Markle, the Royal Wedding, and then Black Panther – the acclaimed Marvel movie.

The top "how to?" query was "how to watch Fury vs Wilder?", the boxing match that drew tens of millions of views globally (many of whom were streaming illegally).

And the next most popular query was "how to floss dance" – check out our floss guide here.

When it came to celebrities passing away, Swedish musician Avicii sparked the biggest interest in search.

And the most popular TV show (on Google, anyway) was I'm a Celebrity.
