Samsung Galaxy S10 REVEALED? Leaked pics of phone turn up online months before official release
SAMSUNG'S Galaxy S10 has been leaked again in a new series of images, which provide stronger confirmation for the rumour that the Korean company's upcoming smartphone will have an all-screen design.
These new pics also show a front-facing selfie camera sitting underneath the touchscreen, while other leaked information suggests that a fingerprint sensor will also be built under the display.
Due early next year, Samsung Galaxy S10 has already been the target of numerous leaks and rumours, with the most notable being that it would have no bezels, the border around the screen that contains buttons or pieces of hardware (e.g. cameras and sensors).
This claim was bolstered by leaked photos released almost two weeks ago by prominent designer/leaker Ben Geskin, and now additional photos have backed up this claim.
They reveal a beautifully sleek display that not only gets rid of bezels, but also houses the selfie camera underneath it.
They were by Dutch tech website Let'sGoDigital, and are based on made available on the usually reliable Slashleaks website.
As exciting as they are, the new images produced by LetsGoDigital conflicts with those recently released by Ben Geskin, since Geskin's didn't feature a selfie camera under the S10's display.
Instead, the camera cut a lens-shaped hole out of the display (positioned top-centre, although updated pics from him now has it at top-left), forming the only part of the phone's front that wasn't touchscreen.
Still, even if the two images disagree on just how the selfie camera will be fitted into the phone, they agree on the likelihood that the Samsung Galaxy S10 will be all-screen and won't copy the iPhone X's infamous 'notch' (a part-border nub sited at the top of the touchscreen).
Added to this, there is plenty of other recently leaked info which appears to strengthen other earlier rumours.
For example, previous links hinted that the Galaxy S10 would have a fingerprint sensor under its screen, and a new leak from the SamMobile blog to confirm this.
It suggests that the S10 will come in three separate versions, with the second and third (which will boast 5.8-inch and 6.44-inch displays) featuring the heavily rumoured in-display fingerprint sensor.
All of these will feature Samsung's new 'Infinity' display, which it unveiled earlier this month when it revealed its long-rumoured folding smartphone.
There's also apparent confirmation of the rumour that there will be a fourth, 5G-compatible version of the S10, after the Wall Street Journal published a yesterday claiming that Samsung is working on a premium version of the phone with a 6.7-inch screen.
And in addition to the likelihood that the S10 will come with the new and very powerful processor, early 2019 is shaping up to be a massive treat for Samsung smartphone fans.
