BUSY shoppers can now save extra money as well as time when it comes to hoovering their homes, after the iRobot Roomba 671 Vacuum Cleaner had its price slashed on Amazon by £65.

This Black Friday deal means that you can get your hands on one of the most sophisticated robot cleaners on the market for only £333.12.

The Roomba 671 was originally given a £399.00 RRP, which despite being one of the more affordable iRobot cleaners (some are priced at over £500 and £800) may have put it beyond the reaches of some tempted customers.

Now, it's £65.82 cheaper on Amazon, and the largely it has received online makes it one of the best Black Friday deals for people on the lookout for a new vacuum cleaner.

Using wifi, it can be controlled using its own smartphone (or tablet) app, which lets you schedule cleanings.

It then uses a range of sensors to detect dust and dirt, and can even hoover underneath furniture, saving you from having to pull out the sofa or your bed in order to have a thorough clean.

The Roomba 671 is also ideal for dog and cat owners, given that it's designed to handle a range of fibres, including fur and hair.

And while those used to manual hoovers might be doubtful that a robot cleaner could ever do a really good job, the Roomba 671 is programmed to go over the same areas and spots multiple times, so that rooms end up as clean as possible.
