Google Pixel 2 gets HUGE £150 discount – and now costs less than half the price of an iPhone XS
Last year's flagship Google phones have been massively marked down – and we've got all the details
GOOGLE has slashed the price of last year's Pixel handsets, with the top model down by a staggering £200.
It's all thanks to the release of the new 2018 Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL – launched earlier this month – which has replaced the older models.
If you head to the Google Store right now, you'll find heavy discounts on the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.
The Pixel 2 is down from its original £629 price, now retailing at just £479.
And the Google Pixel 2 XL has had its price slashed from £799 to just £599 – a huge £200 saving.

It means both phones are significantly cheaper than the new Pixel 3 (£739), Samsung's Galaxy S9 (£739), and Apple's iPhone XS (£999).
There is some bad news, sadly.
The Google Pixel 2 has proved so popular at its newly discounted price that it's listed as "out of stock".
However, you can register on Google's "waiting list", which will alert you when the phone comes back into stock.
Meanwhile, the Google Pixel 2 XL appears to have no availability issues, and can be purchased outright immediately.
If you can get one of these Google Pixel phones, it'll be a solid buy.
Although they're a year old, Google's Pixel phones were widely ranked as one of the best handsets of 2017.
And they've got such powerful tech on board that they'll still work well even today.
Both phones come packing Qualcomm's speedy Snapdragon 835 chip, along with a generous 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
The Pixel 2 has a large 5-inch display with a Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. The Pixel 2 XL, meanwhile, boasts an even larger 6-inch screen with an ultra-sharp 2880 x 1440-pixel resolution.

Google has fitted both phones with very competent 12.2-megapixel rear camera, which were universally praised at release.
The handsets can shoot 4K video at 30 frames per second, and use Optical Image Stabilisation tech to reduce blur in your photos and videos.
Other perks include a built-in fingerprint sensor, quick-charge technology, and an IP67-rated waterproof design.
