FOLLOWING in Nintendo's footsteps, Sony has announced the PlayStation Classic, a miniaturised version of their ground-breaking original home console.

It's coming out worldwide on December 3, and will come with two original, wired PlayStation controllers, and be pre-loaded with 20 games.

"All of the preloaded games will be playable in their original format," Sony says.

The two controllers can be used for "local multiplayer within compatible titles", though it seems that online play is off the table as the PlayStation classic doesn't look to have any networking features.
