Is this the Google Pixel 3? Leaked smartphone pics reveal iPhone X CLONE design

WE'VE been barraged with Apple and Samsung leaks of late, but now it's the new Pixel 3 XL's turn.

The next device in the blockbuster flagship range that single-handedly turned Google into a smartphone hardware player has been outed all at once – and it looks like an iPhone X.

Notch-haters look away now – the Pixel 3 XL touts the divisive panel popularised by the iPhone X

That's mainly due to the "notch" at the top of the display (which will likely house a face-scanning camera that unlocks the phone and a speaker), a trait pinched by Android blowers from the OnePlus 6 to the Asus Zenfone 5.

At the bottom is a decent-sized chin that's a far cry from the "all-screen" designs manufacturers like Apple and Chinese firm Vivo are striving for.

The pictured model is in white, one of the expected colours of the Pixel 3 line-up.

On the all-glass back, you can see the fingerprint sensor and single-lens camera setup (no triple-lens snapper here, we're afraid).

The phone is an EVT 1.0 model (Engineering Validation Test), with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, leaked by an Xda-developer forums member who goes by the name of dr.guru.

But this device reportedly doesn't boot up, as Google has wiped it remotely.

Also on the horizon is the one feature the Pixel range has been sorely lacking: wireless charging.

A separate , this time from the big G itself, almost confirms that both the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will tout the tech.

Specifically, the Google app contains code mentioning a "Pixel stand" that everyone's convinced is a wireless charger.

Earlier reports also mentioned that the Pixel 3 phones would pack a glass sandwich design to let you juice them up without cables.

That means the phone has glass on the back in the vein of other devices that support wireless charging, like Samsung's Galaxy S and Note handsets and Apple' 2017 iPhones.
