Porn stars and celebs to become SEX ROBOTS with XXX body-scanning tech
A SEX ROBOT maker says it can create lifelike human "replica" dolls of celebs and porn stars.
China's DS Dolls claims to use a 3D scanner to scan the body parts of a human for "cloning", which are then sent to a 3D printer to be mass produced.
The company – which makes artificially intelligent sex bots with full body movement – is now promising to churn out the pleasure droids even faster at its factory in Dalian in the north-east of China.
But there's a catch: the firm has stressed that it would need permission to create the "identical" bot in the first place.
Though it's been inundated with requests for sex robots that look like actresses and WWE wrestlers, DS Dolls would need their consent to copy their likeness in droid form.
Currently, the company doesn't sell celeb sex dolls due to copyright infringement obstacles.
But if it does manage to snag a porn star or c-list celeb endorsement, it claims it can make a clone quickly and with pinpoint accuracy thanks to 3D printing.
“Using 3D printing streamlines the process of making intricate parts for the robots and means that all parts will be 100% identical," said the DS Dolls staffer.
“This means less wastage and lower development times," he added.
3D printing is the process of making three dimensional solid objects layer-by-layer from a digital file.
After a 3D design is created on a computer, it is uploaded to the printer, which assembles the final product by layering thousands of tiny slices of raw material in a process known as additive manufacturing.
Dr David Levy, author of Love and Sex with Robots, has predicted that there will “absolutely” be a demand for celebrity sex robots.
In the meantime, VR porn is plugging the gap for horny punters looking to romp with XXX film stars.
According to fresh data, adult virtual reality videos and games have made $130million since 2016, which may explain why purveyors of the naughty clips are urging tech giants like Sony and Facebook to sell their wares.
