APPLE likes to keep its future iPhone designs under wraps – but a new video may have revealed them to the world.
A tech blog has created dummy models of the next three Apple smartphones, using leaked dimensions about the handsets.
Apple is expected to unveil three new iPhone models in September.
That means we're now at the time of year where Apple starts placing orders with manufacturers to get iPhone parts made.
Yesterday we reported on how the Apple supply chain had leaked dimensions for the this year's iPhone trio.
And now tech site has used a 3D printer to create iPhone dummy handsets based on those dimensions.
Last year's Apple handsets included a 4.7-inch iPhone 8, a 5.5-inch iPhone 8 Plus, and a 5.8-inch iPhone X.
This year, we're expecting the smallest phone to have a 5.8-inch screen, and dimensions of 143.65 x 72.03 x 7.69mm.
Then there's a mid-sized model with a 6.0-inch or 6.1-inch screen and dimensions of around 150.91 x 75.72 x 8.47mm.
Finally, Apple is supposedly working on its biggest model yet, with a 6.4-inch or 6.5-inch display and dimensions of 157.53 x 77.44 x 7.85mm.
All three handsets are expected to borrow a key feature from last year's £999 iPhone X.
We're talking about the all-screen front design, which has proved immensely popular with iPhone X customers.
It involves spreading screen across almost all of the front of the iPhone, save for a small "notch" at the top – which houses a speaker, a camera, and some sensors.
By removing the bezel (the border around your screen), it makes it possible to have huge phone screens without increasing the size of the physical handset body.
So Apple is reportedly doubling down on this sci-fi design, as can be seen in the concept dummy units.
Sadly, it's impossible to say whether Apple will actually make phones that look like these concept handsets.
The Californian tech giant is famously tight-lipped when it comes to future releases.
But typically as we approach the summer before an iPhone launch, the quality and quantity of leaks starts to increase.
Apple is almost certainly piecing together its next iPhone(s), and all the leaks so far suggest we're going to get three iPhone X-style devices.
GBH Insights analyst Daniel Ives recently told The Sun that Apple would focus on the "sweet spot" of pricing this year, selling devices at between £600 and £800.
He said Apple fans were put off by the high "sticker shock" price of last year's iPhone X, which retailed anywhere from £999 to £1,149.
