Samsung Galaxy S10 design REVEALED? Concept pics show off under-screen fingerprint scanner and triple-lens camera

A CROP of new Samsung Galaxy S10 concept images have just delivered the best look yet at the potential design of the upcoming flagship smartphone.

The stylish, purple-hued images reveal an in-screen fingerprint sensor, a triple-lens rear camera, and a transparent back that lets you peep the handset's insides.

If accurate, it would find Samsung pinching the best features from its high-end rivals and Chinese concept phones showcased at Mobile World Congress (MWC).

Take the triple-lens snapper on the back, it made its debut on the Huawei P20 Pro – arguably the best smartphone camera on the market – and is rumoured for the iPhone X2 Plus.

Then there's the in-display fingerprint sensor, a notable upgrade from the biometric feature currently tacked on the back of the Galaxy S9.

The tech made its debut on the concept phone at MWC in February, but isn't currently available in the wild.

If Samsung gets it on the S10, which is expected to launch at the event's 2019 edition in February, it could well beat its competitor to the punch.

Lastly, there's that opaque back panel in the vein of the translucent blue HTC U12+, the latest £699 flagship from the Taiwanese electronics maker.

Despite this focus on appropriating trends, there is one fad that's notably absent – namely, the notch (found on the Iphone X, OnePlus 6, and Essential Phone).

Instead, the Samsung Galaxy S10 will retain its predecessor's curved AMOLED display, by the looks of these 3D renders.

Recent rumours suggest this screen will include crazy bone conduction technology that lets you hear phone calls by vibrating against your skull.

It's all in pursuit of the current holy grail of smartphone design: an all-screen gadget.

But as the slim borders in these renders show, that may not turn out to be case for the S10.

The new images arrive just in time to steal back the limelight from Samsung's other hot property, the folding Galaxy X.

That bendy device is expected to cost a whopping £1,300 when it lands next year.
