Shadow Of The Tomb Raider story – what's the plot?

The new game will take on a largely similar style to previous entries in the reboot.

That means lots of action, gorgeous and thrilling set pieces, and a healthy helping of mystery to go with it.

Here's how Square Enix describes the game:

"In Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Lara must master a deadly jungle, overcome terrifying tombs, and persevere through her darkest hour.

"As she races to save the world from a Maya apocalypse, Lara will be forged into the Tomb Raider she is destined to be."
