Pornhub tweets Fortnite players will crash its site amid battle royale game’s server outage

WHAT ARE all those frustrated Fornite players going to do while the game is down? Watch some smut, according to Pornhub.

The web's leading adult site shared a hilarious tweet claiming it fears for its servers in the wake of the battle royale game going dark.

"Please hurry or our servers will crash next," reads the tweet, which quotes the original post from Fortnite developer Epic Games about its title undergoing emergency maintenance.

But the XXX website may have a point.

As The Sun reported last month, there's been a huge spike in people searching for Fortnite porn videos on Pornhub.

The biggest search increase occurred on March 15, after rapper Drake played the game live on Twitch.

This caused searches on Pornhub to increase 824% above average.

"While Fortnite had a slow start on Pornhub, it has steadily gained ground over the last several months to become one of our top video game related terms," the XXX site explained.

The most popular Fortnite-related searches included "hentai" (a type of animated Japanese smut), "battle royale" (the game genre), "animation" and "strip".

A host of saucy videos based around Fortnite – a game that's hugely popular with young Brits – have turned up on the site.

One depicted a woman performing oral sex on a man while he played the game.

Another showed Fortnite gameplay footage, with sex noises being played in the background.

But the overwhelming majority of Fortnite videos on Pornhub were completely safe-for-work gameplay videos – like the kind you'd find on YouTube.

The massively popular battle royale game stopped working at 3:21am UK time – leaving players rather bored and confused. And there's still no ETA when the game will be back online.
