Fortnite week 8 challenges guide – Three Boats search, Dance Floor locations, and Vending Machines map revealed

THE Fortnite Battle Royale daily and weekly challenges are an easy way to get more XP and Battle Stars – and we've got all the details.

Here is our guide to the Fortnite Week 8 challenges, including how much XP you get, and how to complete them.

What are Fortnite daily and weekly Challenges?

Epic Games adds new daily challenges on a rolling 24-hour basis.

They're usually mini-quests based around combat, so you'll probably find you have to kill a certain number of people with a particular weapon.

You'll find the daily challenges on your main menu.

Weekly challenges are a bigger undertaking, which is why you get an entire week to finish them.

You'll find them in a dedicated tab at the top of your screen – but they're only available to Battle Pass owners.

Most of the quests will be around searching chests, tracking down specific locations, or daily challenge-style kill challenges.

You get rewards for completing each challenge, and you don't even have to finish them within that week.

Simply finish them before the season ends (in this case, season 3), and you'll bag yourself the prize.

How to complete Fortnite Week 8 Challenges – a full history of all the weekly challenges

Week 8 Challenges (reward – 4000 XP)

• Search a Chest, Ammo Box and Supply Drop in a single match (3 total / 5 Battle Stars)
• Search the Hidden Gnome in different Named Locations (7 total / 5 Battle Stars)
• Follow the treasure map in Retail Row (1 total / 10 Battle Stars)

Week 7 gnome locations and treasure map

The tricky part of this challenge is managing to visit three in one game of Battle Royale - and staying alive!

The good news is that we have worked out the best way to visit three in one go.

The best route begins at the Taco shop south of Shifty Shafts and then heads to the one by the football pitch west of the Tilted Towers. Then finally, head into the Tilted Towers.

Try to avoid combat if you can!

The final two seem a little unnecessary but if you're on a sight-seeing mission don't hesitate to pay them a visit.

1. South of Shifty Shafts - South of Shifty Shafts and past a large hilltop. The Taco Shop in a small side area.
2. West of Tilted Towers - There's a Taco Shop right next to the football pitch.
3. Tilted Towers - This one is opposite a large yellow bus in the north-east.
4. Tomato Town - Next to their bravest competitor - a pizza restaurant.

When do Fortnite's daily and weekly challenges reset?

The weekly challenges reset every Thursday, but the time depends on where you live:

In the UK it's 9am (BST), in Europe it's 10am (CEST), on the east coast of the USA is 4am (EDT), and on the west coast it's 1am (PDT).

• UK – 12.01am (BST)
• Europe – 1.01am (CEST)
• US east coast – 7pm (EDT)
• US west coast – 4pm (PDT)
