10 celebrities you never realised were massive video game nerds
Celebs, they're just like us – especially the ones who like nothing more than to lose a few hours on a video game
WHEN you think of a gamer what image pops to mind?
If you said a hoodie-wearing, Red Bull-swigging teen, you're dead wrong.
In fact, the rise of gaming has made players of some of the most famous people on the planet.
From Drake to Megan Fox, these are some of the celebs you (probably) didn't know are gamers.
Drake
The rapper recently jumped on a Twitch livestream of the game every kid in Britain is hooked on, Fortnite Battle Royale.
He admitted to playing the massively popular title with his squad in between recording sessions in the studio.
He also let slip that he's aware of PC strategy game League of Legends – making him a true gaming geek.
Megan Fox
The gamer girl of your dreams, Megan Fox enjoys kicking butt on Mortal Kombat.
The Transformers star also admitted to being a Halo: Reach addict in an interview with Collider, claiming she plays online.
Who knows, she may even have beaten you.
Henry Cavill
Henry Cavill's fondness for a particular PC game almost cost him the role of Superman.
He told Conan O' Brien that he was busy "playing World of Warcraft" when he got the call from Man of Steel director Zack Snyder.
"I had my priorities straight," joked the actor.
Vin Diesel
Trust Vin to crank it up a notch: The Fast and the Furious star owns his own video game developer, Tigon Studios.
The company's first release, The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, is still considered one of best games based on a movie.
Diesel's also admitted to playing PC and console titles, including Call of Duty.
Mila Kunis
Like Henry Cavill, Mila Kunis is big on Blizzard's addictive fantasy game World of Warcraft (WoW).
In 2014, she recounted how she would drag her friends into the game and play all-day sessions, killing mobs and wiping a raid.
If that sounds like gobbledegook, you're probably not a WoW player.
Snoop Dogg
We all know The Doggfather loves a Scooby snack or two, but his other great passion is gaming.
He occasionally pops up on Twitch for a livestream, like the one he did in January of PC survival game SOS.
The rapper also ranted at Xbox on Instagram after a server crash disrupted his play time.
Because nobody gets in the way of Snoop Dogg and a Halo sesh.
Justin Bieber
Of course Biebs is a gamer.
The pop star went unnoticed playing Pokemon Go alongside a crowd of crazy gamers when the mobile title landed.
He was also reportedly late for a concert at the 02 back in 2013 because he was playing video games.
Michelle Rodriguez
The badass actress blames her brother for getting her into video games at a young age.
"He introduced me to Doom and that opened me up to that whole world," she told Yahoo.
"I'm not a big fan of fantasy stuff, but if you give me a...shooter, I really get turned on."
Zac Efron
Like some of the other blokes on this list, Zac Efron is a Halo fan.
He even hosted the Halo 3 Midnight Madness launch event in Los Angeles in 2007.
And his online gaming antics reportedly landed him in trouble with his former girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.
“Vanessa has hardly seen him," a source told Contact Music in 2010.
"He talks more to his friends online while blasting away at aliens or whatever, than to her.”

Ronda Rousey
The wrestler, and former mixed martial artist, appeared on the cover of EA Sports' UFC 3.
In the past, she's also spoken about playing Pokemon and teaming up with her Fast and Furious 7 co-star (and fellow gamer) Vin Diesel on World of Warcraft.
