SONY is offering a mind-boggling deal that nets you a free games console or virtual reality headset.

All you need to do is pre-order one of the company's brand new smartphones and you'll get the PS4 or PlayStation VR free of charge.

To qualify, you'll need to place a pre-order for either the Sony Xperia XZ2 or the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, which were announced in February.

The phones are already available for pre-order, and officially go on sale on April 6.
