Considering iPhones usually cost North of £500 and it costs more than £100 to repair their screens through a network, it’s worth getting some protection for your phone.
With that in mind, we’ve tried out cases from the leading brands to find out what they’re like, how they perform and what the best case for your iPhone 6, iPhone 7 or iPhone 8 may be.
Skinny Dip snap case - £15
Skinny Dip has got hundreds of quirky designs in its selection, including the lovable crab model above (which was tested).
It’s a case of fashion over function, as the protruding googly eyes don’t feel particularly nice in your hand and they snag on your pockets.
That said, if you don’t mind minimal protection and a strange-feeling phone, the design is really good fun.
We'd buy this case despite its shortcomings because it looks brilliant, and at £15, it’s significantly cheaper than the other brands.

The verdict
For me, the best all-rounder is the Speck Presidio. It's a tough case that can hold up to a beating, but it's slim and light with easy to use buttons and it has a decent range of designs for you to choose from - all at a great price.
My favourite case to use was the Mous Limitless, although I'd struggle to justify spending £40 on a phone case.
In terms of the best looking phone cases, I'd take the Casetify models. They've got a great range of designs and are better made than the Skinny Dip offering.
The most protective case we tested was the Otterbox Defender. If you plan on using your phone out in the elements or you drop things a lot, this is the case for you.
