GTA 5 Premium Edition leak shows a NEW game is coming very soon

Amazon listings briefly appeared online for the game, fuelling rumours that an enhanced 4K version could be released next month

Grand Theft Auto 5 fans have spotted a premium edition of the game on Amazon Germany, indicating that the best-seller could be about to get repackaged with new content.

The four linking to PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game with Austrian, European, and German ratings were quickly taken down, but not before fans managed to grab some screenshots.

The images show that the new game will be released on March 23.

But, with no rumblings of a new GTA 5 story mode, what will a Premium Edition contain? Step in gamers to dish up some juicy propositions.

Some are suggesting that the game is about to get enhancements for the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro.

That would make sense, seeing as its developer Rockstar Games recently remastered L.A. Noire for current-gen consoles, and even tweaked GTA V's graphics for its launch on PS4 and Xbox One.

Rumours indicate that GTA 5 could be about to get a Nintendo Switch port

But, most 4K enhancements have been free, so asking people to fork out for the bump in resolution probably won't go down well.

Another theory is that a Nintendo Switch port is imminent, and that an announcement could coincide with a rumoured Nintendo Direct event this month.

The Switch was good enough for LA Noire, so why not GTA V?

Or it could be a mixture of all three theories, with some GTA Shark Cards (which come with cash to spend on GTA Online) thrown in for good measure.

GTA Online is still a big money-spinner. In August, the game's distributor Take-Two Interactive helped it to bank $418.2 million in revenue in 2017.
