This sex robot laughs at your jokes and can even load the dishwasher
CHINESE sex doll makers have created a robot that will laugh at your jokes – and even wash your dishes.
The pervy creation is powered by an artificial intelligence and also functions as a love doll that humans can have sex with.
It’s the latest product from Dalian, China-based firm EXDOLL, which has made a name for itself by building hyper-realistic sex dolls that look like real women.According to one of the robot’s creators, she’s designed to work just like the Amazon Alexa digital assistant, or Apple’s Siri smart speaker.
“She can search the answers on the internet, and connect to Wi-Fi and answer the question just like a cell phone, like Siri or something.
“When we ask her the questions, she can feed back or react, and communicate like a real person.”
The sex robot will use built-in microphones to listen to what you say, and will be able to tell when you’re joking, prompting a laughter response.
The end goal is to have her perform household chores too, like turning the dishwasher on.
But its creators say one of her main uses will be simply to provide physical comfort to owners.
EXDOLL is currently aiming to launch the new sex robots in 2018, although there’s no set release date.
It’s set to be a direct rival to US-based Realbotix’s Harmony sex robot, which is already available to buy.
The Harmony bot runs on an app that features AI technology, and can have actual conversations with owners.
But it costs around $10,000 (£7,000) to buy a Realbotix robotic Harmony head for your RealDoll love doll, so it’s unlikely that the smutty tech will go mainstream any time soon.
But Realbotix already has plans to create a male version of the sex robot, and exclusively revealed to The Sun that a transgender version was also on the horizon too.
It’s not clear how much EXDOLL’s sex robot will cost just yet, but we’d be surprised if it was significantly cheaper than rival Harmony.
