Tinder is testing a feature that tells you more about your matches
The 'Feed' feature will show updates from your matches' Instagram and Spotify accounts, with the aim of sparking more conversations.
TINDER is trialing a new feature that will make it easier to find out more about the people you match with.
Introduced in a blogpost, ‘Feed’ will not only let you know when you make new matches, but also show you updates of any of your matches’ activity on Instagram or Spotify.
Unlike Facebook, this newsfeed will be real time and chronological, but will also depend on whether users have their relevant accounts linked to their profile.
Tinder says the idea behind it is to help make kicking off conversations easier - with both new and existing matches.
“Welcome to the world beyond the swipe,” reads the blog.
“Feed brings your matches to life by delivering a visual and interactive experience that helps you spark conversation with the people you want to meet most.
“It’s an exciting new way to see more of what someone is all about by giving you a true glimpse into their world—their passions, their personality, their latest adventure—all leading to better conversations and deeper connections.”
This ultimately makes stalking their Instagram feed a lot easier, as well as giving you an insight into their music taste and any profile changes they make.
The feature is currently live in Australia, New Zealand and Canada, but Tinder hasn’t confirmed when other countries can expect it, or whether more services will be integrated.
