Snapchat streaks: How to get back a lost streak and how to report a problem
ANY avid Snapchat user will be all too familiar with "streaks" - but do you know how to get your streak back, and how to report a problem?
Here's what you need to know...
What are Snapchat streaks?
When you and your friends Snapchat each other frequently you can build up a Snapstreak.
The Snapstreak increases when you and your friend send a Snap to each other within a 24-hour period for three consecutive days.
As you achieve this, you will notice that your friend has a flame emoji next to their name.
If you keep sending snaps each day, the number next to the flame will increase.
If you are close to your Snapstreak ending, an egg timer will appear next to their name.
Sadly Snaps sent to groups don’t count for Snapstreaks, as it has to for individual pictures or videos.

How can you report a problem and get a Snapchat streak back?
If you’ve spent weeks building up a Snapstreak, it can be frustrating to see your hard work wiped out if you forget to Snapchat your friend.
If you are convinced that a mistake has been made and you have sent a Snap back and forth in a 24-hour period, you can report it .
You will have to file a claim with your username, email address, mobile number, device and friend’s username (you can only do one streak per claim).
Then you will have to list how long the Streak was, whether you saw the egg timer appear and details on the technical issue.
You will need to have been fully connected to WiFi or other internet signal, but that it was the Snapchat app that failed and caused you to have issues.
