The Halloween event for Pokemon Go ends today so you don't have long to catch the new Generation 3 Pokemon
THE Pokemon Go Halloween event is on NOW and there are a whole new batch of monsters to catch and collect.
But which creatures are involved in the special event, can you catch Mewtwo and how will it all work?
When is the Pokemon Go Halloween event, when does it end and which legendarys are in the update?
Pokemon Go fans spent months speculating whether the Halloween event will be used to launch Generation 3 Pokemon.
Turns out they were right! Among the new creatures are Sableye, Shuppet, Bannette, Duskull and Dusclops.
The Halloween event comes to an end on November 2 and as well as temporary Pokemon being available for a limited period of time there will also be certain creatures who suddenly become a lot more common - such as the ghost Pokemon Gastly.
Developer Niantic has also told fans that further additions to the Pokemon world will arrive in December as brand-new creatures from Pokemon Sapphire and Ruby crossover.
Will you be able to capture Mewtwo during the Halloween event?
At present, it's not clear if you will be able to catch Mewtwo during the Halloween event.
The Equinox event did include Mewtwo raids which enabled the capture of the powerful Pokemon however, so there is potential that it will be possible again.
In fact, at this point we cannot be sure if there will be any legendary Pokemon released specifically to coincide with the Halloween event.
