Who is David Meade? Christian numerologist and Doomsday conspiracy theorist who claims ‘death planet’ Nibiru will lead to the end of the world
A CHRISTIAN conspiracy theorist has claimed to have gathered clues which suggest the end of the world is nigh.
But who is David Meade and what is his theory?
Who is David Meade?
David Meade is a Christian conspiracy theorist who has made predictions about Doomsday.
He wrote a book called Planet X – The 2017 Arrival - insisting Nibiru would crash into Earth in October - but then moved it forward by a few weeks.
His theory was given a boost this year when NASA discovered a new planet in the solar system, which they named Planet Nine.
Meade’s prediction is largely based on the Bible passage Isaiah, Chapter 13 9-10, it reads: "See, the Day of the Lord is coming – a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger – to make the land desolate and destroy the sinners within it.
"The Stars of Heaven and their constellations will not show their light. The rising Sun will be darkened and the Moon will not give its light."
What is David Meade's theory about Planet X?
Conspiracies about the mysterious "Planet X", Nibiru, suggested that it could be headed towards Earth to destroy it on September 23.
However, when the date passed without apocalyptic incident, Meade insisted that people misunderstood his Planet X prophecy.
Instead, he then claimed that October 15 would herald seven years of nuclear war and natural disasters, marking "the end of the world as we now know it".
Once again the day came and went without it coming to light.
Believers claim the giant planet, said to be four times the size of the Earth, will enter the solar system on November 20 and bring about the apocalypse.
They claim the electro-magnetic pulses from the huge planet will shut down electrical systems and could destroy infrastructure, plunging humanity into chaos.
Theorists also claim it will trigger natural disasters like earthquakes and tsunamis.
The theory was first mentioned in 1976 by author Zecharia Sitchin in his book The 12th Planet.
He believed the planet is home to ancient aliens called the Annunaki who he claimed created the human race.
David has said that Nibiru will pass the Earth - bringing with it volcanic eruptions, tsunamis and earthquakes.
APOCALYPSE WHEN? Five times the world was supposed to end (but didn’t)… from alien invasions to man-made black holes
Meade buys into the idea that a 2,000-year-old prophecy, which was described in the book of Revelation, will cause an apocalypse.
The prediction has been rumbling around for years - but every doomsday has come and gone so far.
Now, Meade claims that when the sun, moon and Jupiter align in the constellation of Virgo on April 23, 2018, it'll spark the Biblical Rapture.
What other theories are there about Nibiru?
In 1995, Nancy Lieder - a woman who claims to have an implant in her brain from a childhood encounter with aliens - claimed that Nibiru would pass closely to Earth in 2003 with terrifying consequences.
Nicknamed "Planet Nine", the planet is estimated to have a mass ten times greater than that of the Earth.
Researchers think the planet, the furthest in our Solar System, could take between 10,000 and 20,000 years to complete one orbit of the sun.
Naturally, conspiracy theorists have jumped on the idea of a ninth planet, which they claim could be the Planet X they've been warning us about.
But Nasa claims the apocalyptic theory is a load of nonsense - although they admit that a harmless Planet X could be drifting at the edge of the Solar System.
What is the SpaceX conspiracy theory?
Mystery surrounds a secret launch by Elon Musk’s SpaceX after a live video feed was apparently cut as the payload separated from the booster.
The secretive US government payload known as Zuma blasted off under the cover of darkness from Cape Canaveral in Florida.
Just what exactly needed such special protection and secrecy is anyone's guess.
After being contacted SpaceX and the Pentagon were tight-lipped about what it was carrying.
It was confirmed the fairings deployed and the payload was well on its way to low-Earth orbit.
Northrup Grumman, the maker of the payload, said it was for the US government and would be delivered to low-Earth orbit, but offered no other details.
SpaceX has launched national security payloads in the past, including a spy satellite for the National Reconnaissance Office, and an X-37B space plane for the US Air Force.
But the mystery deepened when a live feed of the launch was suddenly cut after it separated from the first stage of the rocket .
What did Meade say about World War 3?
In June, 2018, Meade claimed the world will be at WAR by the end of the month - but warned people "not to panic just pray".
The biblical researcher said his latest prophecy is based on Biblical teachings, mathematical calculations and current events.
He claims three astrological "signs" all point to war breaking out in a matter of weeks - and that the "odds are astronomically high".
Meade believes that war will most likely start in the Middle East - or after a foreign power attacks the US - and that the end result will be "catastrophic".
