What is the Pokémon Go Anniversary Event? When is it?
Pokémon Go's Anniversary Event is an in-game celebration which is being held to mark a year since the augmented reality game's release.
The event kicked off at 9pm on July 7, and was originally planned to run right through until 9pm on July 24.
But following a spate of disastrous server problems at the Pokémon Go Chicago Festival, developers Niantic have decided to give the fans a bit of love.
As a result, they've extended the Anniversary Event for a few more days, with the celebrations now set to wrap up TONIGHT (Friday July 28) at 1am BST.
However, the event was marred by unexpected technical problems, with a server outage at the event preventing gamers from getting stuck in.
