Rockstar released a high-octane trailer to whet gamers' whistles.

The update features sharply dressed CEOS trading guns from lavish air-conditioned suites, while leather-clad bikers take to the highway to move consumer goods.

Dotted throughout familiar Blaine County you’ll find sprawling underground headquarters for sale, ready to be stocked with new military-grade vehicles and weapons manufacturing equipment.

The Tampa car gets a new weapon upgrade

According to game developer Rockstar, Gunrunning is full of new weapon upgrades, a "massive tactical, full-service mobile operations centre" and "specific business and research opportunities".

A spokesperson wrote in a statement: "As the residents of Los Santos know, the only thing more fun than crime is profit and should you choose to invest in this new business, some extremely shady customers are ready to pay top dollar for what you can deliver."

It revealed some sneak peek screenshots of what's in store, too.

They feature an at home target range as well as an upgrade for the Tampa car.

A sign hints that the "Los Santos Airbase Bunker" will be where the action kicks off.

Meanwhile, console gamers are still being kept in the dark about a possible Grand Theft Auto 6.

Rumours suggest that the game might be set in London, and could feature a female lead.
