Is Mark Zuckerberg planning to run for PRESIDENT? Facebook billionaire spends day working at factory during nationwide charm offensive
Facebook founder gets a sense of the grind of life on a production line during visit to Ford car production plants
HE'S the tech mogul who appears to be angling for the top job in American politics.
Mark Zuckerberg has stepped out of the Silicon Valley billionaire's bubble and into the real world for yet another photo opportunity that hints at his ambition to become President of the United States.
Zuck spent a day getting his hands dirty on the production line at a Ford Rouge Plant outside Detroit.
"I played a very small part in assembling some new Ford F-150s on the line by adding antennas, cleats and drilling screws," he wrote on his Facebook page.
"I even signed the inspection sticker on one. You're welcome, future F-150 owner."
Zuck didn't appear to much enjoy life as a hardworking factory worker, but got a kick out of the camaraderie between workers.
He added: "Working on the line at an assembly plant is physically hard, and the people I met talked about how tiring it is and how worn down you get.
"Most of the workers I met had been at the plant for at least a decade, and a lot of them have kids and friends who work there, too. Someone told me that when you spend 11 hours a day, four days a week together, you end up becoming family and friends outside of work, too."
Zuckerberg has been on a nationwide tour of America and has vowed to visit every single state throughout 2017 in an effort to meet “new people and hear their opinions”.

The billionaire is being closely followed by a team of spin doctors who massage his Facebook posts to make sure he's striking the right tone.
All of these has led to speculation that Zuckerberg is hoping to become President.
You might think it's pretty scary that someone who literally wants to read people's minds would want to be President.
And, of course, you're probably right.
Facebook gathers vast amounts of information on its users, meaning that Zuckerberg could pretty much tell people exactly want they want to hear if he was to launch a political campaign.
His firm is also working on technology which scans people's thoughts at 100 words per minutes.
If Facebook's power was handed to the state, it could lead to the creation of a surveillance society which would make the world of Orwell's Big Brother look like a liberal paradise.
