PlayStation Network down: Worldwide outage stops users from signing in and playing online

MILLIONS of users worldwide continue having trouble accessing their accounts on PlayStation Network.

The PSN have been down for over 12 hours with most gamers reporting problems with server connections.

The PlayStation website has warned users about issues that they might experience and asked for patience while they’re being resolved.

However, Sony is yet to issue an official statement or provide a timeframe as to when the servers will be back up.

According to , at least 70,000 gamers reported having issues with their PlayStation Network overnight.

The outage has affected account management, gaming, video content, PlayStation store purchases, and PlayStation Direct.
