  • GTA 6 map – what we know so far

The map was one of the first things revealed. The new map of Vice City will apparently be almost twice the size of GTA 5’s Los Santos.

It cuts off to the north side, leading fans to believe it could be even bigger than what we can see.

GTA 5’s Los Santos is one of gaming’s largest at around 30 square miles.

This is the same size as Rockstar’s other popular game, Red Dead Redemption 2.

  • 'Still holding my breath' - speculation rife on Take-Two's earnings call

The online rumour mill is going into overdrive amid speculation of what Take-Two, parent company of Rockstar Games, will announce on Thursday.

RobinManer34 wrote on the GTA 6 subreddit: ";Still holding my breath until Thursday".

  • New vehicles and areas in GTA 6

We saw a huge number of vehicles in the trailer, but there were two that people had their eyes on.

Hovercrafts and yachts were both shown as well as a number of bridges and far off islands.

It’s been confirmed that the GTA 6 map will be far bigger than Los Santos’, and players may even be able to travel to new islands using these vehicles.

Lucia also starts in jail, which could be a new type of location added in as the game’s prologue.

  • 'God, time flies' – fans react to Rockstar announcement

There has been more reaction to the third "anniversary" of Rockstar's announcement.

SadAthleticsFan wrote on the GTA 6 Subreddit: "God time flies. Only feels like yesterday."

  • In case you missed it ... ex-Rockstar employee speaks out

Former Rockstar Games developer Mike York, who has credits on GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, sparked an online frenzy after speaking about the new game. Here is what he had to say:

“They’re probably still making a few new things here and there or adding to things here and there, of course, but I would assume that the game’s probably playable now, and a bunch of people are testing the whole thing all the way through,” he guessed. “There’s probably a ton of bugs”.

In an interview with , the former developer also gave a fascinating insight into how the game is created, stating the team would play GTA 5, below, for "eight-to-10 hours" every day while it was in development.

  • GTA 6 new features – more buildings to explore

In the trailer, we saw Lucia and her partner barging through doors to take part in heists, and we also saw the inside of a number of buildings.

Usually in mainline GTA games there are a few buildings you can enter, but the vast majority are closed off and more part of the scenery.

  • Heists livestreamed?

It appears that Lucia, below, will be able to livestream events that she sees around Vice City, and the reactions make it seem like you can build a social media following.

This could be used to unlock contacts, or generate money for the pair.

  • What to expect: TikTok and live streaming

There was a heavy emphasis on social media apps in the trailer, including apps that mimic platforms like TikTok with live streaming.

While a version of Facebook was in previous GTA games, the TikTok trend only emerged after the launch of GTA 5.

Social media is expected to play a much bigger role in GTA 6.

  • GTA 6 new features: Co-operative dual protagonists

In the trailer, we see Lucia and her partner doing heists together and working as a team.

It’s unconfirmed again, but this seems like it will be the first mainline GTA game to feature two-person co-op.

  • What the GTA 6 trailer tells us

In the trailer we were introduced to Lucia, a girl who starts out in jail and later goes on heists with her partner.

The male partner was unnamed in the trailer, but from leaks we expect his name to be Jason.
