Where is the Giant Turtle in Fortnite? All spawn locations for the chapter 6 quest
FORTNITE enthusiasts are excited for the new quest which involves finding the Giant Turtle.
The Giant Turtle is something you may have spotted in Fortnite chapter six season one, however a new quest has made it harder for players to find the creature.
The Giant Turtle
Players who have ventured the plains of season six may have come across Fortnite's Giant Turtle, while others may still be struggling to find it.
The Giant Turtle isn't just a lazy creature that naps all day waiting for players to land on him.
This turtle is actually part of a new quest so that players can level up their exclusive season six Battle Pass that will afford lucky players the Godzilla skin that drops in the item store on January 17, 2025, at 6am.
The Great Turtle quest?
The Great Turtle quest became available in Fortnite chapter six on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.
Players are then tasked with clearing the Great Turtle's shell of five dark Magic Thorns to earn more rewards for their Battle Pass.
Where to find the Giant Turtle?
At the start of Chapter six Fortnite players could easily find the Giant Turtle by exploring the forest area between the Lost Lake and Whiffy Wharf.
However, as part of the new great turtle quest, the creature has moved elsewhere on the map.
Now the Giant Turtle could be in one of seven different locations at the start of every game.
While there isn't an obvious hiding space for the sought after turtle, he can be fairly easily spotted when diving from the Battle Bus.
Players should scan the map for a bulging turtle shell to figure out the creature’s location when dropping.
The map below has all seven of the turtle’s possible spawn locations marked up to help you spot it on your quest:
Seven possible locations for the Giant Turtle:
- Lost Lake
- Nightshift Forest
- Warrior's Watch
- Seaport City
- Masked Meadow
- Brutal Boxcars
- Whiffy Wharf
