But many appear to have run into a long-running issue at some point or other.

While you may not experience this glitch on WhatsApp today, it's worth knowing in case it strikes in future.

It usually comes up when you're setting the app up on a new phone or if you're installing it for the first time.

"Just got a new phone and it seems like I can’t get WhatsApp to work."

But there's a very simple reason for this problem - and it's all to do with the font size.

On Android and iPhone you can make the text larger in the settings, which is especially useful if you find the standard size too small to read.

The issue is, this inadvertently shunts the "Agree & continue" button further down out of view - and with no option to scroll down.

So the simple solution is to temporarily make the text size smaller so you can go back to the app and see the button.

"It looks like you're using a font that's too large and you can't see the "next" button," one helpful user responded on Reddit.

"Try decreasing the text size in the settings."

The affected person responded: "oh my god thank you so much you’re a life saver."
