MINECRAFT is one of the most popular games of all time and it will soon be adapted into a Hollywood blockbuster starring Jack Black.

A Minecraft movie
There have been plans to create a Minecraft movie since 2014.
Those plans resulted in the soon-to-be released A Minecraft Movie, which will star Jack Black, Jennifer Coolidge, Jason Momoa and Danielle Brooks.
The story will follow Jason's character and his three friends, who are sucked into the Overworld.
The Overworld is a bizarre land which is the central location in the video game Minecraft.
Jack Black will be playing a character called Steve, whose mysterious blue cube has sparked rampant speculation about the film's plot.
Mystery blue cubes
Redditor tokaygecko23 believes he may have decoded the text on the mysterious cubes.
The social media user managed to match the symbols to letters of the English alphabet, when he realized that they were written with the standard galactic alphabet.
Unfortunately, the letters didn't form any words at first but several other redditors eventually made another discovery.

When read in a spiral, the letters form a message.
The message reads: “Iron, Gold, Stone, Gate, Head, Home.”
Fans of the video game believe this is a list of instructions for Jack Black's character.
They believe he will need to build a "gate" using the materials "iron", "gold" and "stone".
The redditors believe this will allow his character to return to his home in the real world.
A theatrical release
Fans can catch the Minecraft movie when it finally lands in theatres across America on April 4, 2025.
It was initially slated to be released on May 24, 2019, but was delayed until 2022.
However, the COVID 19 pandemic forced Warner Bros. Pictures to delay the film until 2025.
Fans can breathe easy now that the film has an initial release date, but there is sure to be even more speculation about the movie as fans count down the days until the movie debuts.
