PlayStation 30th anniversary bundles make a comeback just hours before release date
SOME of the most highly-anticipated and sought-after gaming products this year are from the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection.
The PS One-themed consoles and accessories come with an old-school grey palate and colourful buttons for a nostalgic feel.
Products from the range sold out almost as soon as they went online, and many items quickly began to flood online reselling sites.
With asking prices up to $10k (£8k) for the PS5 Pro bundle, many of these items were well out of the reach of most fans.
It’s always disappointing when scalpers and resellers are able to get their hands on products first, but there might be a chance for those who refused to give in.
A number of retailers held onto stock until it was in their hands, making sure they didn’t oversell products and didn’t have to disappoint customers with cancellations.

That means that some are putting extra consoles and accessories up for sale even though they were previously sold out.
The release date for the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection is Thursday, November 21, 2024, so most companies have all of their units in hand.
Some people will have also cancelled orders or failed to pay for them, and these products will now go back on sale.
A number of PlayStation 30th anniversary products are expected to go on sale on launch day, so there is another chance for people to grab one.

People have already noticed items appearing on Amazon today, but more are expected to appear tomorrow across various retailers.
If you want to pick up one of these items for yourself, the best way is to set up a stock alert.
There are a number of apps that constantly check stores to see when products you highlight are in stock and they’ll send you an alert.
You’ll have to be quick to grab one, even with a stock alert, so make sure you go to the website as soon as you receive a notification.
PlayStation Stock
It’s common that limited-edition consoles and accessories will sell out quickly or be difficult to grab on release day.
Resellers make this much more difficult for regular people who just want to pick up a special item.
Even if you are desperate to grab a product make sure you never buy from resellers in order to prevent this practice from happening going forward.
