Grand Theft Auto fans can finally grab the update that they’ve been wanting for years
THE Grand Theft Auto series is the biggest gaming series in the world, and millions log in to play its games every day.
Almost all GTA games launch to critical and commercial success, except one recent launch that received thousands of negative reviews.
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition is a collection of the three games that make up the GTA 3 saga.
People were thrilled to see that a GTA 3 collection was coming but were disappointed in the quality of the games.
There were thousands of complaints about the numerous bugs, as well as the terrible ‘upgraded’ graphics.
It was very poorly remastered, where everything was simply smoothed out and lost its shape.

The lighting had also been changed and left a dull grey look over the whole collection.
There was redemption for the GTA: Trilogy when it was added to Netflix’s gaming library at the end of 2023.
Even though it runs on mobile rather than more powerful console or PC platforms, it is a far superior version of the collection.
All of the issues that people complained about with the original release were vastly improved in the Netflix version.

The improvements made to the Netflix version have now been added to the PC version of the game.
This includes the ‘Classic Lighting’ mode, which makes the collection more vibrant, like the original.
It also includes bug fixes, visual improvements, and improved character animations.
PC players can finally enjoy the best version of GTA: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition, even if mobile games have done so for a year.
Grand Theft Game
Rockstar has apologised over and over for the state that GTA: The Trilogy was released in, and the company even offered refunds, and free games.
However, once an improved version has already been released, players usually expect those improvements to arrive on other platforms.
It is better late than never, but it could be the case that the collection wasn’t popular on PC after its disastrous launch.
